Daddy messes with Leo before heading out to a very tasty dinner at Billy's Inn with Kristi and Kieran. Adorable outfit courtesy of Kristi, of course!

Now that evidence has come out that autism is not linked to vaccinations, we have decided to put Leo on a regular vaccination schedule. It's less pokes for him and less co-payments for us, so it's a win-win!
He had to get 4 separate shots today to catch him up. He was such a brave boy! He got very mad, but within 30 seconds of cuddling with Mama he was just fine. I think I was more traumatized than he was.
His spitting up has reached a fever pitch, so Dr. Z increased his Zantac dosage a bit. Fingers crossed this will reduce the amount of laundry we do in this household!
He weighs 12 lbs 10 oz. This is 35th percentile for weight. (They didn't get his length this time, so I think later today I'll measure him on my own.) Last time he was weighed he was 58th percentile, but he was also getting some formula then, and formula fed babies are a bit beefier than breastfed babes. Dr. Z wasn't concerned, and noted that Leo is just a "long and lean guy."

IRL
One of my pregnancy/mommy message board friends was visiting Colorado for the weekend and we (and our boys!) got to meet in person today.

Vin spent the day with E at the science museum, and then they came home so E could hang out with Leo a little bit. I am amazed at what a natural he is with babies!

Q: I really want 10 minutes in the morning to have coffee and breakfast, but my baby is bright eyed and bushy tailed. What to do?
A: Baby Mozart to the rescue!

Leo is so cute when he watches it - he coos and kicks and smiles at the parts he likes (especially trains and puppets) and when something goes of the screen to the side, our smart little man follows it to see where it went!
